[At first, she's quiet for a little while. She opens her mouth as if she knew what to say before but now that the camera's rolling, she's second-guessing it. And so there's a pause before she starts talking.]

Matthew's gone.

[... and she looks a little confused, as if she never expected to say those words. They sound so foreign.]

... sheesh. Can he ever leave without causing me problems?

Well, now you know.

[A bit of a shrug and she ends the feed.]

[She's getting sick of hearing that. So she sighs.]

If anything, things'll be better off this way. I don't have to spend my day chasing around a stupid thief or have my nights interrupted whenever he feels like breaking in because he's bored.

[She quiet for a few seconds, especially since she believes that most of it, is Saya's way dealing with it. Trying to convince her that she's going to miss Matthew is pointless.]

But we weren't close. I don't know where people are getting that idea! I hardly knew a thing about the guy.

[And then she sighs at the offer. Kagome, she's been offered food so many times by now, but the answer's always gonna be-]

[Kagome tried not to smile. If you say so Saya.] Thieves can be tricky that way.

[She blinked and thought about it.] Well...what are you in the mood for?

[She's quiet even longer and suddenly grins at the other girl.] Maybe we can go somewhere and practice shooting after dinner. I've been wanting to do that for awhile.

And... how shocking would it be if I were to say I'm not particularly hungry? Not one of those girls who drown their sorrows in food, sorry to say.

But... shooting sounds like fun. If you want to eat, we can do that, and then we'll go out for some practice.

[She giggles.]

Oh it'll be really shocking. [She laughed at that and raised an eyebrow at the comment. Drowning..sorrows huh. So she was right!]

I am a little hungry but I can eat after.

Ain't it? You wouldn't believe how many offers I've gotten to go out for food, Kagome! Do I really look that down?

Hmm, then we'll grab a quick snack on the way and then work it off. Then grab a solid dinner after!

[She laughed.] Well...no but you're so tough that I'm not surprised that you aren't showing it. And...well everyone likes you, Saya and we just want to make sure. A lot of us thought that you guys were close friends that's all.

[She rolls her eyes.] Let me clarify something, Kagome. I'm not sad or lonely. If I am, then I'm doing something wrong. Wanna know why? It's because Matthew and I? Not close. Promise. Barely even friends. It'll just be boring for a while without him around.

[Her surprised was clearly written on her face.] But...[She sighed and let it go before grinning at Saya] Well fine then. But you are my friend, no matter what you say about it! [She winked at the other girl.]

[And Saya's surprise is just as easy to see. For that friend comment? She doesn't really have an answer. But she just smiles.]

[Saya took just a bit longer as she had to make sure that her gun was fully loaded, but she was quite satisfied to find that she was only a bullet or two short since her last practice.

She arrives at the meeting place with a grin.]
