[Video clicks on and... Saya looks tired. Really, really tired. She yawns before she makes her point.]

If I had to pick a type of criminal to have a vendetta against, it would be thieves.

[A tired sigh.] If anyone finds Ragna, would you mind retrieving my gun from him? I'm not entirely defenseless without it, but it's... something that I want back. And I hate to be a bother but...

[She glances behind her and you can catch a glimpse of a very... empty doorway. The door's been broken down. She managed to prop it up next to it though.]

I think I need a new place to stay... Or a repairman. I'll take one or the other.

Rude as it may sound, I'm rather curious. Feel free to turn down my question, though.

How old are you?

Not at all. I am 576 years old, child.

Whoa. I'm... a little envious.

You must've seen a lot of things. How's that been?

[ Alucard chuckles ]

That depends. I was born as Vlad Dracul III Ţepeș, when I became known as Dracula. While I have seen humanity evolve and create wondrous, marvelous things... humanity's obsession with war has left me... disappointed.

Hmm... I want to say that I understand... but that's probably an empty statement to you.

But I agree that people are pretty... irrational that way. They'll cling onto something so ferverently that they forget that their opponent has something to cling onto to- which is what leads to war. A clash of beliefs because people can't live and let live.

[She sighs.] Or... something like that, right?

No, child, it is not an empty statement. You are wise beyond your years. Humanity is something that is precious, something that should be cherished. I lost my humanity over 500 years ago. Humans who blindly engage in war, or who end their lives by their own hands have earned my eternal contempt.

[... why do all these immortals keep telling her that she has wisdom. It's very hard to believe all the same.]

It's... sad but understandable. I don't blame you for disliking them and holding it against them to be at war... but it's just part of human nature. Sometimes I wonder if it's bad to just accept it.

That primitive animalistic nature is inside all of us, my dear. It just depends on how much self control one has.

Guess so... Do you think self-control can be taught?
