video ● seventh reflection

[Video clicks on and... Saya looks tired. Really, really tired. She yawns before she makes her point.]

If I had to pick a type of criminal to have a vendetta against, it would be thieves.

[A tired sigh.] If anyone finds Ragna, would you mind retrieving my gun from him? I'm not entirely defenseless without it, but it's... something that I want back. And I hate to be a bother but...

[She glances behind her and you can catch a glimpse of a very... empty doorway. The door's been broken down. She managed to prop it up next to it though.]

I think I need a new place to stay... Or a repairman. I'll take one or the other.

Oh, he has his moments, you're right. But he meant well... I guess.

voice.

[identity profile] sweeperesque.livejournal.com 2010-09-19 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Well, if I had to guess what his intentions were...

But he wouldn't listen to reason and that's the bad part.

I wouldn't read too much into it. He's an idiot halfling. Such is in his nature to act stupid.

voice.

[identity profile] sweeperesque.livejournal.com 2010-09-19 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
... I wouldn't say stupid, but impulsive. He should consider his actions more, you're right.

voice.

[identity profile] eatingwings.livejournal.com 2010-09-19 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
Should I see him, I'll make sure natural selection takes its intended course...

voice.

[identity profile] sweeperesque.livejournal.com 2010-09-19 11:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmm... an option, but I don't think that's quite necessary. Would you mind just letting him know that Saya's looking for him?

voice.

[identity profile] eatingwings.livejournal.com 2010-09-19 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Alucard is rolling his eyes on the other end fffff ]

As you wish.

voice.

[identity profile] sweeperesque.livejournal.com 2010-09-19 11:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Much appreciated.

Question: by halfling... you're talking about Ragna, right? So if you know he's half... what does that make you? If you don't mind me asking.

voice.

Not at all. I am a real vampire. Not some fake or half vampire. They are nothing but dog food for a monster such as I.

voice.

[identity profile] sweeperesque.livejournal.com 2010-09-19 11:25 pm (UTC)(link)
Frightening.

[... yet even as she says that, she's not all too surprised.]

But I guess this place really does bring around people and monsters of all types.

voice.

[identity profile] eatingwings.livejournal.com 2010-09-20 02:07 am (UTC)(link)
Indeed.

What did you say your name was, child?

voice.

[identity profile] sweeperesque.livejournal.com 2010-09-20 02:17 am (UTC)(link)
Nice to meet you, Mister Alucard.

Do you mind if I ask you another question?

voice.

[identity profile] sweeperesque.livejournal.com 2010-09-20 02:36 am (UTC)(link)
Rude as it may sound, I'm rather curious. Feel free to turn down my question, though.

How old are you?

voice.

[identity profile] eatingwings.livejournal.com 2010-09-20 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
Not at all. I am 576 years old, child.

voice.

[identity profile] sweeperesque.livejournal.com 2010-09-20 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
Whoa. I'm... a little envious.

You must've seen a lot of things. How's that been?

voice.

[identity profile] eatingwings.livejournal.com 2010-09-20 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
[ Alucard chuckles ]

That depends. I was born as Vlad Dracul III Ţepeș, when I became known as Dracula. While I have seen humanity evolve and create wondrous, marvelous things... humanity's obsession with war has left me... disappointed.

voice.

[identity profile] sweeperesque.livejournal.com 2010-09-20 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
Hmm... I want to say that I understand... but that's probably an empty statement to you.

But I agree that people are pretty... irrational that way. They'll cling onto something so ferverently that they forget that their opponent has something to cling onto to- which is what leads to war. A clash of beliefs because people can't live and let live.

[She sighs.] Or... something like that, right?

voice.

[identity profile] eatingwings.livejournal.com 2010-09-20 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
No, child, it is not an empty statement. You are wise beyond your years. Humanity is something that is precious, something that should be cherished. I lost my humanity over 500 years ago. Humans who blindly engage in war, or who end their lives by their own hands have earned my eternal contempt.

voice.

[identity profile] sweeperesque.livejournal.com 2010-09-20 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
[... why do all these immortals keep telling her that she has wisdom. It's very hard to believe all the same.]

It's... sad but understandable. I don't blame you for disliking them and holding it against them to be at war... but it's just part of human nature. Sometimes I wonder if it's bad to just accept it.

voice.

[identity profile] eatingwings.livejournal.com 2010-09-20 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
That primitive animalistic nature is inside all of us, my dear. It just depends on how much self control one has.

voice.

[identity profile] sweeperesque.livejournal.com 2010-09-20 10:50 pm (UTC)(link)
Guess so... Do you think self-control can be taught?
